WORK EXPERIENCE

Produce Clerk, January 2025 – Present

  • Provide a positive service for customers by making their shopping experience enjoyable and easy. 

  • Help with maintenance of the produce section of the store, maintaining the quality of the produce products and their displays

  • Restock products by unloading the truck in the mornings, grouping products together in a categorical fashion, and bringing them out to the floor filling gaps as needed.

 

Martial Arts Instructor, 2023 - Present

  • Instruct children, teens, and adults in martial arts and self defense, including Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and practical combatives, emphasizing safety, discipline, and real world application

  • Evaluate student performance and readiness for progression through preparing them for belt testing/skill assessment

  • Assist with the maintenance of the dojo facilities, including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking.

Interned with GIG Rite

  • Assisted with cleanup of the music studio after construction of music projects

  • Assisted with modification of sound speakers in terms of passing out materials, and learning as an understudy

SERVICE/COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

SWAY J (Shop with a Yellow Jacket) | 10th & 11th grade

  • Volunteer through my high school during the holidays to go shopping with underprivileged kids and assist with picking out gifts for their family. 

Southern Invitational | 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grade

  • Marching band competition hosted at Sprayberry, which the band volunteers for to help the event run.

  • My role during my Senior year was “Judge hospitality”, which included bringing beverages and food to the judges, transporting judge’s sheets to the press box, and general logistical runs needed from the press box.

  • Other years I served as equipment helper, helping multiple different bands with bringing their equipment from their warmup location to the field which they perform at, and helping them load off the field 

Trunk Or Treat | 12th grade

  • Volunteered at my high school’s halloween event that is open to the community and is used to help fundraise for our school

  • Assisted with general setup of the event and cleanup (trash duty) after the event ended.

International Night | 12th grade

  • Volunteered at Simpson Middle School’s international night on behalf of Evolution X Martial Arts to perform a demonstration to the crowd displaying history of martial arts in a live demo format.

Morningside Elementary Fall Festival | 12th grade

  • Volunteered on behalf of Evolution X Martial Arts to help set up and break down our booth at Morningside Elementary School.

Sprayberry Craft Show | 11th grade

  • Volunteered at my high school's annual craft show, where I helped various vendors set up their booths with their artwork.
